Anker Nano Power Bank 10,000mAh
Research-based review

Anker Nano 10,000mAh

Worth Considering — USB-C top-ups with less clutter

Main advantage
An attached USB-C cable makes everyday phone top-ups easier to carry.
Main drawback
The cable must fit your devices, and the exact model and unit need current safety-notice checks.

Best for: Everyday USB-C charging when an attached cable simplifies your routine.

Skip it: People needing high-output laptop charging or a direct Lightning connection.

The details, when you need them

Jump to a section

Scope: A1259, 30W, built-in USB-C cable; not the 45W retractable model. This is a research-based buying assessment using manufacturer information and the outside source identified below. Buy If Works has not carried out a hands-on test of this product.

Product and model: what you are buying

Anker sells several Nano power banks. This review concerns A1259: the 10,000mAh version with a built-in USB-C cable and advertised 30W bidirectional charging. It is not the 45W retractable-cable A1638. Compare model numbers rather than treating every Nano listing as identical.

What the outside evidence shows

COMPUTER BILD tested the A1259 and valued its built-in cable, charging-standard support and remaining-time display. Its review noted the absence of wireless charging and simultaneous charging and recharging. This is evidence about that tested model, not a safety certification for a particular serial number or a measurement of every current phone’s charging speed.

Where it fits in everyday use

The built-in cable answers a small but recurring problem: carrying a bank and forgetting the lead. It is useful only if its connector fits the devices you carry. Decide whether convenience outweighs dependence on an attached cable, then think about how the bank fits in the bag or pocket you actually use. A capacity label alone does not answer either question.

Strengths and trade-offs
  • Built-in USB-C cable reduces the need to carry a separate lead.
  • COMPUTER BILD reported useful charging-standard support and a clear capacity/time display.

No universal phone recharge count or speed. Connector, attached-cable condition and current model-and-serial-number notices need checking.

Ownership costs and practical checks

Budget beyond the purchase price

Potential up-front extras
Any separate cable or connector accessory your devices need beyond the built-in USB-C cable. Check whether your chosen package includes a recharge cable.
Repeating costs
Recharging electricity. There is no measured annual cost here; battery ageing and the attached cable can affect the longer-term replacement decision.
Check before paying
Check A1259, device compatibility, the exact unit against current safety notices, and the seller warranty route. Compare with a conventional bank plus cable.

First-year planning: delivered product price + required extras + the consumables, optional plans and energy you expect to use.

A cost checklist, not a live price quote or a measured annual total. Check local prices and your selected bundle. Manufacturer product / support details ↗ · Checked 11 October 2026.

Compare the bank with a conventional model plus the short cable you would carry anyway. A larger bank may suit several long charging sessions, but it also changes the carrying routine. If your main need is laptop charging, start with that laptop’s power requirement rather than assuming a phone-oriented bank is adequate. Keep wireless convenience and wired charging as separate priorities.

  1. Confirm A1259 rather than another Nano variant.
  2. Match connector and charging protocol to your phone or tablet.
  3. Check the exact unit against current manufacturer safety notices.
Questions before buying
Does 10,000mAh mean two full charges for any phone?

No. Delivered energy, charging losses and phone use vary; the label is not a universal recharge count.

Will the built-in cable fit a Lightning iPhone?

It is USB-C. A Lightning device needs a compatible connection arrangement; do not assume a direct fit.

How do I check safety notices?

Use Anker’s current recall guidance and the exact model and serial number. This review does not clear an individual unit.

Evidence limits

Worth Considering is a conditional editorial assessment of the use case described here. It is not a hands-on performance score or a best-in-category award. External tests concern their reviewers’ units and conditions; we have not verified long-term reliability, every regional revision or today’s delivered price.
