When fur comes with crumbs and car-seat crevices.
Source-based assessment · Sources checked 12 October 2026
- Main advantage
- A cordless handheld vacuum for a wider clean-up routine.
- Main drawback
- Confirm the pet-tool bundle; filters, charging and maintenance add work.
Best for: Pet hair plus loose debris, when powered cleaning is worth the extra bulk.
Skip it: if your existing vacuum already reaches these areas, or you need continuous whole-room cleaning rather than spot work.
Our take
Consider when a separate handheld solves a real access problem. Skip the extra appliance if your existing vacuum reaches those areas.

What everyday problem does it solve?
Hair and loose debris in furniture or the car need more than an adhesive touch-up.
A handheld vacuum adds powered spot cleaning and accessory access. It also brings a charging and filter-care routine that a manual roller avoids.
How it compares with ChomChom Roller
CH951 adds suction and accessories for debris and access that a manual roller cannot provide. ChomChom remains simpler for fabric-only touch-ups: no charging or filter care. Check whether your current vacuum already solves the wider job.
What using it actually involves
Use the relevant attachment, empty the cup and follow filter washing and drying instructions. Plan short spot-cleaning sessions: Shark lists ten minutes of battery life and four hours of charging, not uninterrupted whole-room cleaning.
The limitations that matter
Confirm the pet-tool bundle; filters, charging and maintenance add work.
