Fanttik X9 Ultra Tire Inflator
Research-based review

Fanttik X9 Ultra

Worth Considering — Portable tyre maintenance

Main advantage
Cordless tyre top-ups without needing a mains-powered workshop compressor.
Main drawback
Its listed weight is about 4 kg. Tyre compatibility, charging and the duty cycle still limit the jobs it can handle.

Best for: Drivers who want a cordless inflator for compatible tyres and routine top-ups.

Skip it: People expecting a workshop compressor or unlimited continuous operation.

Value candidate

Fanttik X9 APEX

Source-based assessment

A portable inflator between the smaller Pro and the much larger Ultra.

The catch: Manufacturer speed figures depend on the stated tyre and pressure test; check cooling instructions.

Is this right for me?

Choose it when: You want a portable car-tyre top-up tool rather than the Ultra’s bulk.

Premium candidate

Fanttik X10 APEX

Source-based assessment

A portable alternative with a manufacturer-listed 43.2Wh battery.

The catch: Still below the Ultra’s 92.5Wh label; this is a feature-led portable option, not an across-the-board upgrade.

Is this right for me?

Choose it when: More battery capacity than the smaller APEX models is useful on trips.

The details, when you need them

Scope: X9 Ultra tire inflator. This is a research-based buying assessment using manufacturer information and the outside source identified below. Buy If Works has not carried out a hands-on test of this product.

Product and model: what you are buying

Fanttik positions the X9 Ultra as a cordless inflator for pickup trucks and larger tyres, with a digital pressure setting, an extended hose, lighting and power-output functions. The manufacturer lists a 92.5Wh battery and accuracy claims. We have not reproduced its inflation-speed or gauge-accuracy tests.

What the outside evidence shows

CleanTechnica’s Danielle Garland used the X9 Ultra on Toyota Tacoma tyres and found its controls, hose storage and lighting convenient. The reviewed kit lacked a wall charging adapter, and charging a laptop consumed more battery than the reviewer expected. The article does not provide a controlled inflation-time or gauge-accuracy dataset; we therefore do not repeat the manufacturer’s speed multiplier as a measured result.

Where it fits in everyday use

Think about when you will use the inflator: regular driveway top-ups, travel or an occasional low tyre. A cordless tool trades cable access for battery readiness. If it spends long periods in storage, checking its charge becomes part of the ownership routine. A light and easy-to-read controls are useful, but they do not answer whether the pump suits the volume of your tyres.

Strengths and trade-offs
  • Cordless inflation with integrated hose storage and lighting.
  • CleanTechnica reported straightforward use on Toyota Tacoma tyres.

Keep a charging routine and check adapter contents. Controlled speed, accuracy and extended duty-cycle results have not been established here.

Ownership costs and practical checks

Budget beyond the purchase price

Potential up-front extras
Any charging cable or valve accessory you need that is not included. Match the package to your tyres and intended storage location.
Repeating costs
Charging electricity. Check the cost and availability of hoses or other wear parts if replacement becomes necessary; do not assume the battery is user-replaceable.
Check before paying
Confirm the included charging equipment, local service route and duty-cycle instructions. Battery capacity is not an unlimited-use guarantee.

First-year planning: delivered product price + required extras + the consumables, optional plans and energy you expect to use.

A cost checklist, not a live price quote or a measured annual total. Check local prices and your selected bundle. Manufacturer product / support details ↗ · Checked 11 October 2026.

Price the charging equipment you need and compare the inflator with an option that suits the same tyre task. Spending more for power-bank functions makes little sense if those functions reduce the reserve you want for inflation. Check local warranty arrangements, because a portable tool is less convenient if obtaining support requires shipping it abroad.

  1. Confirm supported tyre size, target pressure and duty-cycle instructions.
  2. Compare a realistic top-up task, not only a maximum-PSI claim.
  3. Check hose access, storage dimensions and included charging equipment.
Questions before buying
Is this also a vehicle jump starter?

No. USB power output does not make an inflator a jump starter.

Does 150 PSI tell me how fast it will inflate?

No. Tyre volume, starting pressure, charge state and operating limits also matter.

Is charging equipment included?

Verify your kit. CleanTechnica’s review unit included a charging cord but no wall adapter; bundles can change.

Evidence limits

Worth Considering is a conditional editorial assessment of the use case described here. It is not a hands-on performance score or a best-in-category award. External tests concern their reviewers’ units and conditions; we have not verified long-term reliability, every regional revision or today’s delivered price.
